It started as a 30 day vegan experiment for a work project ... that was 5 years ago. The experiment became an experience.
Recent grad of The Natural Epicurean Culinary School - where I was trained in Vegetarian, Vegan, Macrobiotic, Raw Living Foods and Ayurvedic cooking.
Currently the Raw Vegan Chef at Austin Skinny Limits.
Back on Weight Watchers trying to loose the weight I gained eating crazy amounts of food at culinary school.

We had a visitor today! Kristin is on an awesome “1-year-long, vegan food-focused cross-country road trip, in search of the best vegan food and vegan restaurants in the United States!” and everyone should check out her story!!!!
Bruschetta Stuffed Zucchini
Chris requested cole slaw with his “burgers” - this time I made him one called “deep south slaw”
I have motivational walnuts. This fell out with the end of the banana walnut bites.
Vegan Roast (Seitan)
I love this stuff!!!! Smoked black bean hummus!!!!
Today we learned about sourdough starter and made 2 kinds of sourdough - whole wheat and multi grain. The kitchen smells soooo good!!!

Made Miranda chocolate chip scones for breakfast.
Today was Scones - vegan and gluten free, Empanadas - vegan and gluten free and vegan pie - peach, ginger mint.
Today was sorbet and panna cotta. The panna cotta had a peach gelee on top. The sorbet was mango, vanilla & mint and blueberry vanilla. We didn’t want to mix them and make an ugly color.
Today our demo/lab was Quick Breads - Cakes - muffins.
Our group made Gluten Free & Vegan Zucchini Almond muffins and Peach, Blueberry, Ginger preserves.
My group fave was the Carrot cake!!!
