Also I'm now on a quest to loose weight while being a vegan on Weight Watchers.

5% Lost Goal - (met 4-14-11)
10% Lost Goal - (met 5-19-11)
G#1: 186 New Sandals (met 4-21-11)
G#2: 174 - Clean out old clothes (met 6-9-11)
G#3: 160 - Get my Momma/Baby panda Tattoo
G#4: 150 - (I'm not setting a reward for this.. it doesn't need one..150 is reward enough)
End Goal: BE HEALTHY and stay that way! (not sure what weight that is.. I'll know it when it happens)

(THE OLD NEWS)
It started as a four week trip into the world of a vegan diet as an experiment for hubby's job...
... the trip is now ongoing and we are learning as we go.
Along for the ride is our non vegan offspring who thinks chicken is a major food group.
This blog is about what we ate..what we found.. and what we have learned as we go...as well as a little kid torture (that's what parents are for right?)

Crusted Lemon Seitan with Chinese Cabbage Sauté

This seitan is baked, so there is no need for frying and I’ve added some more herbs and spices to punch up the flavor. Now, this meal is much healthier and tastier than the traditional chicken dish!
