UGH! The SPCA in British Columbia along with the RCMP are investigating a report that a Whistler tour company slaughtered 100 healthy sled dogs last year after business slowed and new homes could not be found for the animals.

Well that wasn't so bad

Big Boy turned out ok. They had a salad/soup/burger bar. So I had salad and fries..lol

I told my parents I was hungry and thirsty and my mom said Bob Evans or Big Boy…. Um… I guess Big Boy since Bob Evans is famous for his sausage??? I was hoping for Subway. Oh well. I knew this would be an adventure.

Another Vegan first for me

Off to “home” (Michigan) for my niece’s 5th Birthday party. This will be my first trip there since becoming vegan so it will be an interesting experience. I’m expecting many of the typical “what do you eat? Salad?” Conversations.
